1. Scope and identity
This Privacy Policy describes how OperatorOS, a service operated by Shotgun Ninjas Productions, collects, uses, protects, and retains information when you visit operatoros.net, create or use an OperatorOS account, interact with an enabled module, request support, or opt in to communications. OperatorOS is a command and entitlement platform for business and operational software tools.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the services you choose to use, we may collect:
- Account and organization data, such as name, email address, authentication and tenant membership information, roles, and subscription or entitlement records.
- Operational data that you submit to OperatorOS or an enabled module, including workflow, support, customer, asset, task, and service records.
- Transaction data, including plan, checkout, invoice, and payment-status metadata. Payment-card processing is performed by the applicable payment provider.
- Security and technical data, such as session and audit events, device/browser information, request metadata, error codes, and appropriately handled network-address evidence.
- Communications data, such as contact details, message content and delivery status, support correspondence, communication preferences, and consent or revocation evidence.
3. How information is used
We use information to operate, secure, support, and improve OperatorOS; authenticate users; enforce tenant, role, subscription, and module boundaries; complete requested workflows; provide support and requested communications; detect misuse; maintain audit and compliance evidence; and meet legal, carrier, payment, and service-provider requirements.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We may use contracted processors for hosting, database, authentication, payment, email, telecommunications, security, analytics, and support functions. They may process only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services to us, subject to their contracts, applicable law, and appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect the service or people, or as part of a business transaction subject to applicable privacy protections.
SMS and Mobile Messaging Privacy
Mobile numbers are used only for the OperatorOS communication purposes for which the user consented. SMS consent is not sold or rented. Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers such as telecommunications carriers may process information strictly as necessary to operate the communications service where legally appropriate; they do not receive permission to use OperatorOS mobile opt-in data for their own marketing.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
OperatorOS retains the phone number, consent status, UTC timestamp, source, disclosure and policy versions, consent mechanism, and revocation evidence needed to operate the program and demonstrate consent. 5. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, account and service operation, dispute resolution, security, audit, suppression, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and module. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, encrypted transmission, bounded logs, and tenant-scoped authorization. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
6. Choices and requests
You may update appropriate account information and communication choices through available product controls or by contacting us. For SMS, reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for help. Privacy requests may be subject to identity verification and records we must retain for security, billing, suppression, or legal reasons.
